A case that involves a repossession gone bad is expected to be handed to a West Alabama jury today. Two years ago there was a hung jury in the murder trial for Kenneth Smith. The Birmingham resident is now standing trial for negligent homicide in the same case. He's accused in the 2008 shooting death of Jimmy Tanks from Choctaw County, Alabama. Family members say the 67-year-old was killed during the early morning hours while Smith was in Tanks' yard attempting to repossess a car.
