Kemper County, Miss.
An initial hearing is set for later this week for two suspects accused in the kidnapping of a Kemper County child.
The hearing for Wanda Dancy, 51, and 25-year-old Shamarius Ruffin will be Thursday in federal court in Jackson.
A third suspect, 54-year-old Jesse Pollard, has already had her initial hearing and is being held without bond.
All three are charged in the kidnapping of 6-year-old Jashayla Hopson from East Kemper Elementary School last week.
Hopson was taken from her school Tuesday and turned up on a rural Lauderdale County road Wednesday afternoon. Officials have said she is all right.
Law enforcement say Pollard is believed to have enlisted the help of Dancy and Ruffin to take the child as "leverage" in a dispute she had with Jashayla's mother.
