Jasper County, Miss. A pipeline accident in Jasper County four months ago is the state's costliest inland spill in more than a decade.
Federal officials say the accident where more than 100 gallons of crude oil spilled into wetlands near Bay Springs cost more than $5 million to clean up.
About 122 barrels of oil drained from the Plains All American Pipeline before the leak was discovered in February. It did not affect wildlife, but did contaminate the soil and water in the area.
