The Western Sizzlin' on Highway 16 in Philadelphia, Miss., was gutted by fire Monday around 10:45 p.m.
Philadelphia firefighters responded along with the Choctaw Volunteer Fire Department.
"The crews made entry into the building and found the fire to be in the attic area above the kitchen," said Capt. Johnnie Osborne of the Philadelphia Fire Department. "And conditions changed so fast it took everything we could do just to keep it off the other buildings.
Smoke was showing when firefighters arrived. The cause is under investigation.
