Mississippi Army National Guard Officers hope to enlist roughly 1100 soldiers to meet recruiting goals this year. The goal is set by the National Guard Bureau. They are pushing for a high number of enlistments nationwide to make up for slow recruitment in 2005. Mississippi needs to recruit and retain 16-hundred soldiers this fiscal year.
