There has been a little bit of confusion for some residents of Lauderdale County looking to throw out their trash.
The green boxes that had been located on Highway 45 South, across from the Evangel Temple, have been moved. The new location is a little farther south just off the highway on Dr. Brock Road.
Officials say church members and other residents asked for the boxes to be moved.
"It was a problem because it was close to a church and you have a lot of traffic in the area also," said Tony Green, Lauderdale County Administrator. "Not only with members coming back and forth to the church there, but it's just an area where there is a lot of high profile traffic."
Green said residents complained about trash debris from the dumpsters and stray dogs in the area.
