Meridian, Miss. A Meridian company has committed to raising money for a year for breast cancer patients. The Service Company, a mechanical, plumbing and electrical contractor, kicked off a campaign Tuesday night called "Working for a Cure" in the fight against breast cancer. The company unveiled it's new pink van. When customers ask for the pink van, Chad Vaughn says The Service Company will donate a percentage to help local cancer patients. "We're mostly men, and lots of them have women at home who are given these horrible diagnoses that they can't do anything about," said Vaughn. "So we tried to find a way that we could do a little bit to help as much as we can." The money will be donated to the Anderson Regional Medical Center Cancer Patient Benevolence Fund.
