Art Grants

Officials with the Meridian Arts Council say they have $6,000 available to give away in grants. If selected, groups can be awarded anywhere from $500 to $4,000.

"This is open for non-profit arts type organizations: schools, colleges, universities, individual artists, pretty much anything associated with the arts," said MAC Grant Chairman, David Stephens.

The grants are available to organizations within Meridian. The deadline for applying for the grants is April 8.
