The Lauderdale County School Board met in a special called meeting Tuesday afternoon.
On the agenda was the scheduling of a hearing for a teacher who was terminated last week. .
"The board has set that hearing for Mar. 21 at 9:00 a.m. and has appointed a hearing officer to conduct that hearing," said board attorney John Compton.
The board would not release any additional information.
Members will read the transcript from the hearing, and then make a final decision.
