Republican State Senate candidate Brad Carter announced Tuesday he is withdrawing from the Senate District 33 race.
Carter gave no reason, but threw his support to GOP incumbent Sen. Videt Carmichael.
Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Arthur Eaves, Jr., says he is withdrawing from the governor's race. He cited time away from home as the reason.
