Anthony Tyrone Ormond, 17, remained jailed in Sumter County Thursday.
He was charged with murder in the Wednesday stabbing death of fellow student, Sedrick Daniels, also 17, at Livingston High School.
Meanwhile, classes resumed counselors present to help students cope with the tragedy.
Livingston police have not released a motive for the incident.
