Another wrongful death lawsuit has been filed relating to the 2001 deaths of three city workers in York, Alabama.

The lawsuit names Ervin Sturdivant, the head of the town's sewage department, as defendant.

The case was filed in Sumter County Circuit Court.

Two years ago, Arthur Jones, J.D. Coleman and Otha Hinson died while working on a sewer line in York. Fellow worker David Webb was seriously injured.

The lawsuit, which represents only one side of a legal issue, claims Sturdivant was negligent. Other lawsuits have already been filed against the town of York.
