An arrest has been made in a murder in Smith County.

27-year-old Nicholas Dardar is charged with murder in the death of his 19-year-old stepson, Daniel Davis.

The gunman's wife was shot in the same incident. Dardar is also charged with that aggravated assault.

The shooting happened around 1 a.m. Friday in Mize.
