Senator Terry C. Burton says a special session is eminent for the Mississippi Legislature.
The reason, law makers have a few loose ends to wrap up. Tourism and Katrina related issues will be on the agenda. But lawmakers will also be discussing a possible deal with Chevron to locate in Pascagoula.
"This is something that will mean just untold amounts of money, untold amounts of opportunity, and just untold amounts of rebirth for that area that was so badly hit by the hurricane," said Burton.
The deal is contingent upon an announcement by the company. Senator Burton says the relationship between the House and the Senate was better this session than it's been in years.
