Two People Robbed at Gunpoint in Meridian Saturday Night

Meridian, Miss. The Meridian Police Department is searching for three people accused of robbing two people at gunpoint late Saturday night.

Police tell Newscenter 11 it happened around 11:00 in the 4300 block of 33rd Avenue. Detective Dareall Thompson says one black male approached the victims in a car, asking for directions. That is when two other black males ran up, put guns to the victims heads, and robbed them. The suspects with guns fled the scene on foot and the driver of the car drove away.
