Two jailers in Wayne County have been fired, amid allegations of misconduct.
Wayne County Sheriff Stein Farrior said the guards, Jason Lindsey and Jerome Brunner, are charged with having sex with an inmate. Lindsey faces two counts. Brunner faces one.
The charges were filed following an investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
Three female inmates say they were violated over the weekend, but were unable to report it until Monday.
Lindsey and Brunner were released after posting $20,000 bond on each count.
