MCC Hosts Spring Commencement Ceremony

Meridian, Mississippi Meridian Community College hosted its annual spring commencement ceremony at the Evangel Temple Friday evening.

MCC graduated a record-sized class with over 500 students applying to graduate this semester. The students were honored for their hard work as they received their diplomas Friday night. School officials say this class was not just large, but was full of high-quality students.

"This class has worked really hard. It has been one of the most competitive academic classes that we have had," said Barbara Jones, vice president of operations at MCC. "We have our first group of Honors College students who are graduating."

Our own production assistant Corey Robinette and intern Christina Randall graduated Friday at MCC. Congratulations to them and the rest of the graduates at MCC.
