A pair of teens face charges in the weekend death of William Melton Gill, 23, whose body was discovered Saturday morning on Highway 496 in Lauderdale County.
"We have two individuals in custody," said Lauderdale County Sheriff Billy Sollie.
The suspects were identified as Glen Allen Steves and Jermaine Mason Ramsey.
Gill had been shot multiple times.
"At this time, no formal charges have been brought forth but they are imminent," the sheriff said.
Sollie said because the investigation is ongoing, no other details are being released.
The investigation involved the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department and the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
