Two men have been arrested in Kemper County, allegedly for selling illegal drugs.
Nineteen-year-old Steven Watson of Meridian, Miss., and Joshua McMullen, 20, of Lucedale, Miss., were arrested Wednesday night off campus.
Sheriff Sam Tisdale said the students at East Mississippi Community College in Scooba have been monitored since January.
"We have bought drugs off of both of them before, so we have a solid case," said Tisdale.
The sheriff said more than four grams of marijuana and $500 cash were seized during the arrests. A bond hearing for both men is expected soon.
Officials at EMCC said the process to expel Watson and McMullen has been set in motion.
