Police say 20 year-old Izola McMillon and 25-year-old Derrick Williams of Chicago did not fight returning back to Meridian to face three felony charges of capital murder, armed robbery, and motor vehicle theft.

"We're glad that's it's all over and we do have the suspects in custody," Meridian Police Lt. James Sharpe said.

Meridian Police say the suspects were captured at a Chicago residence where they were living. They are being held at a Chicago jail until arrangements are made to bring them back to Meridian.

"At this time we are making arrangements to proceed to bring them back. It's undetermined if we will have officers travel to Chicago to bring them back or use a private transportation service to bring them back," Sharpe said.

Meridian Police believe McMillon and Williams were involved with the murder of Bonita BP owner Mohamed Alnazalli of Meridian. His body was found in the restroom of the BP service station on Wednesday morning. Chicago Police located the stolen Chevy Malibu of Alnazalli on Thursday.

Police say McMillon had been employed at the store for a week and both have been in Meridian for about a month. Authorities suspect McMillon helped set up the murder.

As to a possible confession or explanation as to why they did this, Police are waiting to hear from the suspects.

"Once we get them back in Meridian of course we will talk to them and see if they will give us anything concerning the incident," Sharpe said.

Investigators hope to have both suspects in custody in Meridian within 10 days. There is still no word when the store will reopen.

Good job Chicago police. Get a private escort service if you want them to make it back. MPD will fumble this job if given to them
