A fugitive wanted for an out-of-state bank robbery was arrested Tuesday in Lauderdale County.
Jermaine Jones was taken into custody by the U.S Marshal's Fugitive Task Force, FBI, and Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department.
Jones and three others are accused of robbing a Milwaukee, Wisconsin, bank a few months ago.
"There are no charges pending here. He's currently being housed in the Lauderdale County Detention Facility awaiting extradition. That agency has been contacted," said Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun. "Any time we have an individual that's on hold for an outside agency, that agency is contacted. And we then go through the extradition process."
Calhoun said Jones was arrested without incident at an apartment complex on Highway 39.
