The Meridian Planning Commission has approved the rezoning of a parcel of land on Highway 39 North.

Property owner, David Cullum, Sr., said he plans to develop a shopping center on the nearly 15-acre site, near Children's Education Connection.

Citizens have ten days to appeal the rezoning from multi-family to commercial property.

After that, the issue would go to the Meridian City Council for a vote.

I think it would be great, more jobs for people and its only minutes away from where I live!

Sorry to be so dumb but what does multi-family mean? Neighborhood or apartment complex or other?

I think it would be a great idea. Will keep us from having to go all the way out in town for everything.

Where on Hwy 39N? These stories never give enough specifics, so I don't know if I would like to appeal the rezoning. More info please!
