PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) -- Northrop Grumman is suspending production at its Gulf Coast shipyards because of Hurricane Gustav.
The company said Sunday that production work will halt for a week at its Ingalls facility in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and its Avondale facility in Louisiana.
Work at those two sites will start again during the morning shift Sept. 8.
Production work at Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding's Gulfport, Mississippi, facility is suspended Tuesday through Friday.
