Suspect Charged in Rail Theft
Wayne County, Miss. A suspect has been charged in connection with the theft of railroad parts in Wayne County.

Montrell Powell of Wayne County is charged with petit larceny and trespassing in connection with the theft of metal parts from Meridian Southern Railway.
Powe is accused of stealing anchor plates and railroad spikes.
Investigators say that the items were possibly being sold for scrap metal.
