Another group of air national guardsmen departed Key Field Monday bound for duty in Kuwait.

Twenty-three members of the 186th Air Refueling Wing's support squadron will provide necessary services for the fighting force in the Middle East.

"We just appreciate the community support that we've had from our friends in this area. We ask you to continue to support the 186th and support our troops that are overseas," said Col. Jim White, Mission Support Group Commander. "We have a great number that are over there doing a great job supporting our country, doing their job. So just pray for them and remember them when you have a chance to say a good word for them."

This particular group of troops deals mainly with food preparation for the soldiers in Kuwait.

Another group of aircraft maintenance personnel left on a later flight early Monday evening.
