Winston County coroner, Scott Gregory, said a resident was found dead in an apartment near Louisville High School Tuesday.

Gregory said the 66-year-old white male had multiple stab wounds from head to foot. He's awaiting the results of an autopsy.

The coroner said it's the first homicide in the city of Louisville since 2004.
