Industrial Park Advances

Lauderdale County's supervisors Monday bought the last two remaining parcels of land needed to complete the new industrial park.

"The first resolution would authorize the purchase of land for the new industrial park from David J. Faucette at the amount of $190,000," said board attorney Rick Barry. "The next resolution would concern same terms of resolution concerning the purchase of the property owned by Cecil Crowe for $590,000."

The purchase included the homes owned by Faucette and Crowe, as well as the land.
