K-Mart Shuts Down

K-Mart in Meridian is officially closed. Sunday was its last day in business.
The Meridian store was one of more than 300 K-Marts the company decided to close, after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2002.
There's no word on what may happen to the now vacant building at Hwy. 19 South and South Frontage Road.
