Arrest Made in Salvage Theft

An arrest has been made in a salvage yard theft in Wayne County. Authorities credit an alert citizen for it.
According to officials, early Sunday morning a motorist noticed Carl Mixon leaving a salvage yard west of Waynesboro with a number of automobile parts.
Investigators say it turns out the parts were stolen from the salvage yard and all were worth more than $1,000.
Mixon has been charges with theft. His bond was set at $25,000.
