Over 130 exhibits were showcased at the 15th Annual Main Event Business and Industry Expo at the Lauderdale County Agricenter, from colleges to electronics to law enforcement agencies.
It's an opportunity to meet and recruit while networking with fellow businesses.
"This gives us a way to recruit because a lot of time people are not aware," said Jean Willis, an exhibitor. "So we can give them brochures and let them know about the different classes and programs we offer."
This is third year the Main Event Expo has been held at the Agricenter. The spotlight this year was on training and technology.
For some consumers, the expo was a way to gain new ideas for sprucing up the house and a way to find new businesses in the area.
Organizers encourage new businesses or people thinking about going into business for themselves to stop and give this a look next time.
