Trial started Monday, June 8th, 2009. Sources from the inside said the hearing allowed for witnesses to tell of the harassment and threats made during the 2007 election. It might just be that Attorney General Agent Roger Cribbs and Sheriff Arnie McMullen over stepped their power and infringed upon the rights of voters. Call Benton County's newly elected Circuit Clerk Kathy Graves for more information. She has been more than willing to give information before Monday. Oh, by the way, Agent Cribbs is a close friend of Ms Graves and Sheriff McMullen per Mr. Cribbs words. She was the underdog in the 2007 race, but she emerged the winner, thanks to the arrests made during the investigations. All the workers against her were arrested before the election. All the workers and candidate against Sheriff McMullen were arrested also. I guess Ms. Graves was correct when she stated it is good to have friends in high places.
