The Mississippi Employment Security Commission has sent out a reminder to employers about the rights of workers who were deployed for military service.
By federal law, Reserve and National Guard members that had to leave their civilian jobs must be reemployed to the same position, as if the job had never been interrupted.
The benefits that must be available include the person's health plan and pension benefits, as well as regular salary.
