Death Penalty
The Mississippi Supreme Court has set July 17 as an execution date for death-row inmate, Tracy Alan Hansen.
Hansen, who will die by lethal injection, will become the first condemned prisoner to be executed in Mississippi since 1989.
Hansen was convicted of killing Mississippi State Trooper Bruce Ladner in 1987.
