Burglaries Investigated

A string of weekend burglaries in Jasper County is under investigation.
Hundreds of dollars worth of items were stolen Sunday, June 23, from the Beat Five office in Heidelberg.
First Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge in Heidelberg were also victims of break-ins but nothing was taken.
A number of other burglaries were reported over the weekend and officials say, could be connected.
