Bombing suspect Eric Rudolph arrived in Birmingham, Monday, after five years on the run.

The North Carolina man will await trial for the fatal bombing of an abortion clinic there.

That incident yielded evidence that authorities say ties him to the Olympic Park bombing, among others.

Rudolph did not enter a plea but has a court-appointed attorney.

"He is not guilty," said Sean Devereux. "He asked for an attorney at some point over the weekend, either Saturday, probably Saturday certainly.Yesterday and the court here and the U.S. Attorney's Office saw to it that somebody was out there so he wouldn't be alone, somebody to give him advice."

Rudolph had been on the FBI's ten most wanted list, and the government had offered a $1 million reward for information leading to his capture.
