Mississippi Foresters Head West

Firefighters battling wildfires out west will again get some help from the Mississippi Forestry Commission.

A group of 20 left Friday for a two-week tour of duty.

Paul Tadlock, John Moore and Robert Scoggins from Scott, Newton and Jasper Counties are among those helping to battle blazes in the western United States.

Officials say the incidence of fire is above what it was in 2002.
