Key Field is officially making history. The 70 year old air field has been
added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Key Field is the earliest known surviving airport in Mississippi.

The complex played a significant role in developing air to air refueling techniques.

The field was named for Al and Fred Key, who set the world's flight endurance record in 1935.
