Two buildings will get a facelift, courtesy of the Mississippi Department of Archives and History and the Riley Foundation.
"We are beginning to start a project that was funded by the Department of Archives and History and the Riley Foundation so that we can stabilize some of the old buildings that were built in 1894 and get it in a condition so that it won't deteriorate any further," said Jesse Brewster.
The restoration will include a new roof, windows and landscaping.
The work officially began Friday and is scheduled to be complete by March 29, 2004.
