The U.S. Supreme Court Monday refused to enter the long-running fight over the Ten Commandments monument in Montgomery, Ala.
The court quietly rejected appeals from suspended Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore.
Moore goes on trial before the Alabama Court of the Judiciary on Nov. 12.
Moore was suspended from the state high court after he refused to remove the monument.
He now faces judicial ethics charges.
