Dr. Marty Wiseman, director of the Stennis Institute at, Mississippi State University, is WTOK-TV’s guest for "on the record".
He says a key to Haley Barbour's win in the Mississippi governor's race was his plan.
"There was a strategy imposed by Haley Barbour that has turned out to be the fascination of the journalists inside and outside the state of Mississippi and that is his 72 hour plan that he put in place in the 72 hours leading up to the election," said Wiseman. "I was talking to a Washington reporter and he said that's going to be studied by a lot of other consultants because of its effectiveness."
Barbour's winning plan and other aspects of the election will be discussed on the program.
"On the record" airs on WTOK-TV Sundays at 5:30 p.m.
