Hundreds of eager students attended the 2nd Annual Rush Career Care 2003.
"Healthcare is the largest employer in this area and we are trying to create a different awareness," said Donnie Smith, Rush VP for Human Resources.
The day offers students in both high school and college a vast array of information and knowledge available to students.
"Coming to Career Care helps you because you get to see everything and they talk to you about it and explain it to you," said student Julia Patton. "There are also scholarship opportunities available out there."
Twenty-two schools across the area were invited to bring students.
"There is so much to know about a hospital, you just never know until you go to something like this," said Rush Hospital's Melissa Estes.
