VIMVILLE - A day after news broke that West Lauderdale head football coach Stan McCain would be leaving Collinsville for Kosciusko, Southeast Lauderdale head coach Ty Trahan says he is leaving the Tigers to head to Southern Miss as a graduate assistant. Trahan was the head man at Southeast for 3 years, and now he goes back to Hattiesburg to begin a college coaching career.

Southeast principal and former football coach Dwane Taylor was reached for comment Friday as well. He says he supports Trahan's decision, and moving forward he plans to speak to coaches within the program and outside the Southeast family to find Trahan's replacement.
