House District 82 Results
Meridian, Miss. There will be a runoff in the special election for Mississippi House District 82.

With all 12 precincts reporting, including all but six absentee or affidavit ballots that were not processed at the Council of Organizations precinct, these are the unofficial numbers for the House District 82 Race.
Democratic Candidates:
Robert Barfield: 322 votes
John Harris: 240 votes
Roscoe Jones: 52 votes
Wilbert Jones: 1023 votes
Republican Candidate:
Bill Marcy: 801 votes
Since no candidate won a majority of votes, there will be a runoff between Wilbert Jones and Bill Marcy June 30.
