Suspects Nabbed by Patrol

Meridian patrol officers arrested a pair of suspects in a strong armed robbery around 3:30 a.m. Saturday at the Dixie Station on Highway 19 North.

According to police, Chiquita Ott, 34, threw hot coffee into the clerk's face, causing minor injuries.

Ott and an alleged accomplice, Robert Morrison, 44, were arrested shortly afterward.

Ott allegedly gave a false surname, Scott, to authorities when she was taken in on the charge.

The MPD said the arrests are due to good investigation by third shift patrol officers.

Bond for Ott and Morrison was set at $7500 each.
