Robber Leaves with Nothing

Lauderdale County deputies are investigating an attempted armed
robbery today at Taylor's Pak-a-Sak on Briarwood Road.

The clerk was able to lock herself in a back room while a customer outside called for help.

The suspect entered the business with a handgun, but no one was hurt
and apparently nothing was taken.

The suspect, described as a Black male, 6 feet 1, wearing a white
t-shirt and blue jeans, fled east on Briarwood Road in a blue Mustang.
