East Central Community College in Decatur is reporting a substantial increase in its students for this summer semester.

Officials at ECCC say they have about 170 more students this summer than they had last summer. That's about twenty percent.

Officials say they've also had an increases in the number of classes offered at the school in the summer, from 66 last year to 98 this year.
