Pedestrian Struck Sunday Night

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department, at the request of the Marion Police Department, is investigating an incident in which a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
It happened around 10:20 p.m. Sunday on Marion Lizelia Road near Tuscaloosa Street in Marion.
A 17-year-old male was hit and taken to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.
The only charge filed so far in the incident is against the driver for driving with an expired license plate.
