The battle over the Ten Commandments in Alabama is making its way to the nation's capitol.
Supporters are taking a replica of the monument, removed from Alabama's judicial building rotunda, to Washington, D.C.
"My argument today is that the Ten Commandments is the moral framework, the moral code of the United States justice system and we want it to remain forever," said John Giles, of the Christian Coalition of Alabama, at a stop in Columbia, S. Carolina.
Last month, hundreds of people gathered in Montgomery in support of keeping a granite Ten Commandments monument on display there.
