A search is underway for a suspect or suspects in the shooting death of a college student from west Alabama.

DeAngela Bell of York was killed last Thursday while sitting inside her car in night club parking lot in Huntsville.

Reports show that Bell and her friends were waiting to pick up someone from the club when two men came out of the building shooting.

Officers say they believe Bell was an innocent bystander.

Bell was a student at Alabama A & M in Huntsville.
