To:Worried location. I understand the way you feel. However, as a black person, I wish that we did not need special associations. Times have not changed enough for us to let go of these special groups. Blacks are still being treated unfairly according to the color of our skin even though we have elected a black man as president.
There is no White Trooper's Association because white people are not a minority formerly oppressed by the government. There is nothing wrong with institutions in our country protecting minorities. Slavery, segregation and oppression tipped the balance strongly away from black people. These types of institutions are necessary to regain some sort of balance.
I am so sick of the ACLU and the NAACP. It is time to SHUT UP and quit making race a factor in everything. I would hate to know that I got a job because I was a female instead of the best qualified for the job. Your RACE should not make you the best candidate for any job.
Well here we go again.Help me understand this..WHY is their a Black troopers Association when they all serve together already..Is their a WHITE Trooper's Association????????? Why Know..so why Not???this is what is wrong with our country now...........
